Language Arts  : Today we had our "Book Study" . We take turns reading with a  group and answer the questions about reading comprehension ,grammar  and vocabulary. We are learning how to use the dictionary to look up meanings for words. 

Math: We have started our new unit on "Addition and subtraction" .Grade 3 focuses on 1-3 digit addition and subtraction answers up to a 1000. Grade 4 focuses on 3-4 digit addition and subtraction with answers up to 10,000.

Science:  We have started planning out "Structures" . We are"Thinking Like an Engineer" .Our goal is to built a structure that has a purpose. It has to be stable and strong enough to hold 200 g of weight .

If you still have not brought your recyclable materials for building ,please bring them in tomorrow. 

We are going to start building on Tuesday December 8th.
