Congratulations Grade 6 !
Language Arts:
In Room 3 we have been finishing up our "who Would Win Books" using multiple non fiction text features .We are working on a comic strip centred around our butterfly.Ask me about the name of the main charter of toy comic.
Math : Ask me about the three types of transformation of shapes; reflection, rotation and translation.Draw a 2 -d shape and practice these transformations.
Social Studies : We are learning about "Tunisia" .Ask me about Tunisian culture.
Science: We have been observing the life cycle of a butterfly for the past few weeks. Ask me about the different stages of the life cycle of a butterfly . We are going to release our butterfly tomorrow to its natural habitat.
Up coming events:
Friday June 25th: Pyjama Day.Report cards going home on Friday.
Monday: Monday is a fun- day. There will be pancake breakfast .Students will be spending some time outside playing sports. Please wear sun screen and dress appropriately for a warm day . Bring a water bottle and a hat.
