Please mark your calendars and join us for the next School Council meeting on March 9, 2021 at 6:30 pm. I will be presenting a proposal for a Shortened Friday for Professional Learning beginning in the 2021-22 school year. We meet virtually through TEAMS.

Literacy
Today we leant about another poetic device called "Alliteration". Alliterations are commonly known as "tongue twisters" Ask me to tell you about alliteration and its use in writing.
We read these books on alliteration.
Here is the new Spelling List.The next spelling test will be on March 19th.
Grade 3's focus is"oi" sound and academic vocabulary.
Grade 4's focus is "ure" pattern and academic vocabulary.

Math:
Today we leant how to make a line graph. It was a little challenging to get started and use a chart to represent data in a line graph.But we know that we need to start with a" Y axis "and an "X axis ".Ask me to read the graph to you.What are the important things we need to have in a graph?
We are working on our "Monochromatic" self portraits. They are coming along nicely. Stay tuned for the finished project!
